korean and old school fushion

Had dinner with love at upper thomson as I had a enormous craving for korean pancake!
couldn't forget the one I first tried at bugis's arirang! it was yumilicious!

But a pity the pancake here was only average. But the mash potato they served for appetisers was really good!

They charged a dollar for the refill of the mash potato, which other korean restaurants usually do it complimentary. but oh well, that dish was really good and worth the top up charge!

The spicy seafood soup was good too.
It had pork belly inside (a pity its overcooked and a little tough), mushroom, clams and toufu.

Really liked the soup base. It has this tinge of japones (if i'm not wrong), which
really brings the soup to a different level.

We reached at around 8.30pm, and thankfully it was pretty empty. cos the place
was quite hot. or maybe it was me being heaty since the bf said it wasn't hot.

Next up was desert at Old School Delights.

Love the itty bitty things they do to make this place very old school. The old maid play cards,
country erasers, five stones ( my favourite game!) It sure brings back memories from primary school and kindergarden

Bf likes the chendol here
I only like it when it has melted. Love the mixture of the gula melaka with the coconut milk.
But i still don't like the green jelly.
they look like snakes
