decided to cook spagetti today.and viola! (; using the Margarita con vegetable pasta i bought from Italy/Spain (can't really remember)
its weird that the name of the pasta is called margarita since margarita is spposed to be a cocktail consisting of tequila mixed with triple sec and lime or lemon juice, often served with salt on the glass rim, according to wikipedia.
Oh wells. A pity my aunty forgot to take out the fish,if not the dish would have been more savory! and surprising, its quite good, considering that i just adding the ingredients and sauce according to my own imagination (; so i shall name it huey's dried spicy spagetti. I suppose it was because I tasted this superbly yummy dried spicy spagetti when i was in Italy, and thus decided to get in chopped chilli padi in the recipe, and my gosh,it really tasted good!
-250g pasta (should be sufficient for 4)
-3 small cuttlefish
-6-7 prawns
-some meat, sliced and marinated with light soya sauce, salt, pepper
-fish (adding fish would be better for the dish though I didn't add it this time round. marination would be sufficient with oil and salt)
-about 3-4 cloves of garlic,chopped
-2 onions, sliced
-garlic powder ( Got from italy. i think cold storage speciality stores sells it too. Makes the dish abit more spicy)
-3 minced chilli padi with seeds removed
-pasta sauce ( adding 1-2 tomatos, diced, should make the taste better!)
steps
1. boil the spagetti with water, and add salt and oil, for approximately 15 mins ( depending on the type of pasta used, duration would be different)
2. Rinse in cold water and set aside
3. Add oil and fry onions, garlic, chilli padi in order. (the smell turned out to be overwhelming, guess its due to the chilli padi
4. Add meat, squid, prawns and fry. Add a little salt to enhance the taste
5. Add 6-7 table spoons of pasta and some water
6. Add in pasta, stir and one teaspoon of garlic powder
7. fry and simmer
8. Serve
and there it is, huey's dried spicy spagetti ((;
