Self pamper

Ironies of CNY: Barley and candy jellies

What's better pamper then to steam your face and give it a good hydrating mask?
Snagged it from watson's 1for1 sale of the Naruko mask.

Updates for the week

Turquoise tunic. Hongkong. Jean skirt. malacca. embroidery clutch. gifted.
red lippie. Maybeline

Chanel and rose for my bestie's birthday(:
Dinner was at bangkok jam while dessert at Paris Baguette. Strawberry shortcake wasn't worth the calories. In fact bakerzin can beat it hands down in price and taste. boos.

but the original milk pudding was alright, without the need to mix the caramel settled at the bottle, else it will be awfully sweet

First Christmas Dinner on sunday, with portluck from everyone. Bestie roasted chicken while Couple W made pasta and log cake. Bf and I made potato salad. And the yummy fried chicken wings, ham and Bens and Jerry's ice cream. hehe and vodka orange. slurps.

its nice to have gatherings once a while ((:

And this is the self-made logcake by Mr Wong. so 'sellable' right! Professional!

(:

More supplies! Its time to work hard on my designs!

Awesome my foot

Some pampering yessterday for my poor feet that was tortured from my new shoes.
Sorry feet, here's some foot mask to make it up to you

Love how cooling my feet feels after wrapping my feet in these sock like masks for 120mins!
And as per the instructions, I washed off the mask after the stipulated time and my feet feels really light and soft.

OH it feels real good!

and even today when I woke up, my feet feels so smooth.

I have happy feet!

And I just realised the nightgown I wore yesterday resembled the one I wore say abt 18-20 years ago?

For the lazy bones and hungry tummy

Finally dragged my lazy bones for a short run today.
Oh boy, was i really tired.
I still prefer swimming though, it's not that bad for my joints. My joints are cracking up now everytime I do squats. Looks like I have to invest in royal jelly soon. I heard that they are pretty good for joints, and complexion. hehe

Pardon me for the series of narcissistic shots :p
Have got to snap the moments of youth before they slip away. and they are for the hardworking one who worked late.

Hoped this energy booster works!

And I was so craving for soba I decided to do a quite one to satisfy my dying hunger

hehe <3

You can find a short tutorial I made here

The last lunch

Italian food on the Menu. Today's lunch was at La Nonna.
La Nonna meaning "The Grandmother" , serves traditional Italian country crusine, much like how a grandmother would cook it lovingly for the family. Smacked in the middle of bungalows of Namly Place, sits this quaint little restaurant. They have one at Holland Village too.

Current promotions are 3 course set lunches at $22++ and 50% off ala-carte for weekday lunches
lunchtime: 12noon-2pm

La Nonna

Love the literal brick and mortar feel of this cosy little restaurant. See the teletubby looking chimney in the mirror? That is where the pizzas are baked and delivered to your tummies

*swooning over the vintage lamps and crockery display*

I selected Pappardelle to feed my little tummy. Pappardelle, pronounced as par-par-day-lay. are flat pieces of ribbons, which we singaporeans would better know them as ban-mian (;

Homemade parpardelle pasta served with truffle sauce and chicken liver sauce

The pasta was really springy, and it was an interesting mix between the truffle sauce and the chicken liver. Definitely an exotic dish that don't frequent the menus of pasta places outside.

We also ordered Neva, squid ink pizza for sharing. It was a interesting mix, considering most places have squid ink pasta on their menu but not pizza. I like the ink, but not so much of the pizza dough itself as it was pretty tough. But nevertheless, it was an interesting dish.

I stole the sausage and cheese pizza from my colleague. And it is also probably the last lunch that I will do that. Cos today is his last day in the company.

And it is with such a heavy heart as he is such a bubbly person to hang out with.

Hello kitty painting and wolfberries

His farewell presents for me. A really really thoughtful gesture that really warmed my heart as he knew that I adore Hello Kitty. And fancy a guy doing hand painting :p

And the wolfberries, are what I diligently eat every morning, and often, forget to. He actually remembers my complaints and bought me a can to stock up in office.

Oh well kitty, now, it is just you and me.

of kitties and slinkies

A three day backdated post, but i managed to get my hands on those cats!loving them for being so terribly cute. Oh how much calories have my little tummy sacrificed to get those kitties. But oh well, once in a while sacrifice is worth it (:

Remember my previous post about the slinkies? I realised now they have it in those capsule machines too!
Though tiny, they come in an array of shapes

it starts with a green ribbon

hello!

Its thursday! (:

After 3 continuous nights of working late late and late, I finally decided that it is time I will knock off on time today.Work can never be finished.

But after knocking off on the day, it puts me in a delimma.. cos it is too early to go home, and I'm not used to it! So I drifted around and bought myself a deep green hair pin, which triggered my camwhore photos, because

1) I haven't camwhored for a long time ( a girl should take more photos when she is young, i know right!)
2) i was too lazy to drag my lazy bones to shower
3) I was watching TV with my dad
4) and that means family time

Which allows me to be excused for not going for a timely shower :p

Knocking off on time means I have time to upload my random shots for the week (:

Today was a fruitful night, spending quality time with my dad, playing draw something, watching teevee, and laughing at him for not having a timely shower.

Its in the genes, i know right!
